The Spring Little League season came to a conclusion at Tedford Park. In the double elimination Majors Division playoffs CVO arrived in the Championship Game first, thanks to victories over Seraphin Ford and previously undefeated Ellington Fire Department. But EFD was able to avenge the previous loss to CVO by shutting them out in the Championship Game, 11-0.
The Minors final came down to the 6th match-up of the season between Hadden & Whidden and Juliano’s Pools. Juliano’s captured the regular season by the thinnest of margins but the bats of Hadden & Whidden were too much to overcome in the Championship Game as they broke open a 13-13 tie in the last inning to defeat Juliano’s Pools 19-13.
In the Farm Championship, top seed Deer Valley Townhomes came back from an early deficit to defeat NE Rocket Development 11-6. Deer Valley took control of the game in the fourth inning with 6 runs. The Rockets had their chances, but left the bases loaded in the last inning to stifle the comeback.
