The overall objective of GBB is to offer a baseball program to the children of Garrett, DeKalb County, LaOtto, and Corunna. Emphasizing—SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAM WORK, DEVELOPMENT, and the BASIC FUNDAMENTALS of baseball while having FUN in the process.

• Get youth involved in a Garrett summer sports program.
• Teach the fundamentals of baseball.
• Develop good sportsmanship while being competitive.
• Have Fun playing Baseball.
• Take pride in the facilities offered.
• Establish a good working relationship with the Park Board.
• Encourage parent participation in GBB.
• Prepare and encourage the players to participate in the High School Baseball Program.
