Softball League Age is determined as what the player age is as of last December 31st

Skills Assessments/Tryouts are mandatory for all players league age 9 and up.

When registering your player, divisions will show available based on league age. The ages listed below in each division are averages; there are players that are older and younger in the divisions that specify "Average League Age".

The skills assessment/tryout will be the final determination on division placement.
Once a player is in a division for regular season, that player is unable to move to a lower division the next season.


AA Minor (Average League Age 7-9)
The level emphasizes on basic fundamentals, such as: learning field positions, how to grip a ball, how to hold a bat, etc. The main purpose of this division is to expose players to all different positions on the field. Every player will learn infield and outfield positions, along with taking a turn on the bench, throughout the season. Older players will start learning pitching and catching fundamentals.

  Start date: Second week of April
  End date: First week of June

  Days: Weekday practices and games, some weekend games. Practice days vary by field availability.
  Times: Practices start times will vary between 5:30pm and 6pm. Games start at 6pm, coaches will want to have players there a minimum of 15 minutes ahead. Games have a two hour time limit, with no new inning starting after the hour and forty-five minute mark.
  Location: Cascade complex (C5/6) is designated for AA and AAA Softball. Teams will inter league at various locations around district.
  Uniforms/Equipment: The league will provide a shirt and hat and team bat. Your player will need pants, helmet, glove.
  Registration Cost: $100

AAA Minor (Average League Age 9-10)
This level will start to zone in on positions. Teams will inter-league play within our district, so expect travel for approximately half of the games.

  Start date: Second week of April
  End date: Second week of June

  Days: Weekday practices and games, some weekend games. Practice days vary by field availability.
  Times: Practices start times will vary between 5:30pm and 6pm. Weekday games start at 6pm, coaches will want to have players there a minimum of 30 minutes ahead. There are no time limits for games. Teams will inter league at various locations around district.
  Location: Cascade complex (C5/6) is designated for AA and AAA Softball. Teams will inter league at various locations around district.
  Uniforms/Equipment: The league will provide a shirt and hat and team bat. Your player will need pants, helmet, glove..

Majors (Average League Age 11-12)

  Start date: Second week of April.
  End date: Second week of June.

  Days: Weekday practices and games, some weekend games. Practice days vary by field availability.
  Times: Practices start times will vary between 5:30pm and 6pm. Weekday games start at 6pm, coaches will want to have players there a minimum of 30 minutes ahead. There are no time limits for games.
  Location: Cascade complex (C3) is designated for Softball. This is the Junior Varsity field and the school takes priority. Coaches, players, and parents are to respect and support the time JV players are on the field. Teams will inter league at various locations around district.
  Uniforms/Equipment: The league will provide a shirt and hat and team bat. Your player will need pants, helmet, glove.
  Registration Cost: $120

Juniors (Ages ONLY 13-14)
This level is on a full size field. This level will give players time to prepare for high school level of play.

  Start date: Second week of April.
  End date: Second week of June.

  Days: Weekday practices and games, some weekend games. Practice days vary by field availability.
  Times: Practices start times will vary between 5:30pm and 6pm. Weekday games start at 6pm, coaches will want to have players there a minimum of 30 minutes ahead. There are no time limits for games.
