You have questions.....We have answers!

Q: What should my player wear to practices/games?

DYB will provide you the jersey and hat. please have your player wear gray pants and cleats to complete their uniform.


Q: When does registration ends?

Regular registration ends March 1st. Late registration ends March 15th. ($50 late fee will apply)


Q: What about the School Enrollment Form?

There are TWO ways to completing this form.

1. Print the form from Dick's registration, have your child's school sign it and then you can upload through your Dick's account. 
                                                      OR
2. Complete the form in DocuSign and be DONE.   DYB will take care of the rest.

Q: What are the divisions by age for baseball?

Tee Ball 4-6 CO-ED

Machine Pitch 7-8

Minors  9-10

Intermediate 11-12

Juniors 13-14 (division/play based on registration numbers)

Q: What are the divisions by age for softball?

Tee Ball 4-6 CO-ED

Girl & Coach Pitch 7-8

Girl Pitch  9-10

Girl Pitch  11-13

Girl Pitch 14-16

Q: What if I want my child to play up/down in a division?

If you think your player is better suited to a division that does not fit their age, you will need to submit a letter to the board requesting consideration. You will need to outline their experience and have the backing of one or more coaches. This letter can be submitted to [email protected].

Q: What is "League Age"?

Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball®. See this article for more information. 

Q: How does the waitlist work?

Once each division reaches capacity any new registrants will be placed on the waitlist. The waitlist is on a first come first serve basis. Your spot is not guaranteed. If you are accepted from the waitlist, you will be notified via email.

Q: What does the registration fee cover?

Registration fee includes cap and jersey, umpire fees, city field rental fees, field maintenance for ALP fields, and field/team supplies.

Q: When do practices/games start and end?

Practices Begin: April 1st.

Games Start: April 15th.

Season Ends: June 15th

Local Tournaments/Round Robin: June 17-29

Tee-Ball ONLY - May 1st-July 1st

Q: What about uniforms?


Your player(s) will receive their hat/visor and a jersey prior to their first game. Ask your coach for more information.

Q: Is there a discount for multiple players?

Yes! You will receive a discount for player #2 and #3 of $20 each.

Q: Is there a late fee? 

Yes! Regular registration ends March 1st. Register EARLY! Any registration after will be assessed a $50 late fee.

Q: Does DYB offer scholarships?

Yes! We do offer a limited number of scholarship opportunities. Please email [email protected] for more information.
*Note: All scholarship forms must be received by February 28th. 

Q: Do I need to submit my driver's license and coaching certificate again this year, if I did it last year?

Yes! These documents are only valid in our system for one year.

Q: Can I bring my dog to the field?

Yes! However, you MUST clean up after your pet. No one wants to step your pup's poo. 

NOTE: Some divisions may not have enough registrants to play in Durango only and may require travel. Please email for more info.
