Our Managers and Coaches spend countless hours guiding and directing players in the sport of softball. All are required to complete Babe Ruth Training Certification, national background checks and Safe Play classes to ensure that players are safe and that the focus is on the players learning the game of softball, learning essential skills and having fun.

Coaching Certification is available through the Babe Ruth League website and must be completed by new coaches before completing the Manager/Coach Application and is at the manager/coaches expense.

Returning Managers and Coaches are required to attend the season's Managers/Coaches meeting or submit their Manager/Coach Application to the League President prior to the scheduled meeting. Information about the meeting will be put on Facebook 2 weeks prior to the meeting.

Background Checks and Safe Play training through SportsEngine are required per Babe Ruth prior to season play and must be renewed every two (2) years. Volunteers will be given a code and will need to register with SportsEngine to complete the background check. Then receive notification of Safe Play training availability. Information regarding background checks will be provided to managers and coaches as soon as applications are reviewed and team officials are selected.

Many resources are available through Babe Ruth League and all coaches are encouraged to stay current and use the resources available.
