Flag Football season announced

FYFC offers a safe and fulfilling introduction to 5v5 flag football for all Fluvanna County Student Athletes ages 5-15. This is a no contact league that introduces new skills, enhances abilities, and teaches the rules of the sport. Players will have one practice per week and games on Saturdays and Sundays.

Fees:
$75/per player
Fee includes: Belt with flags and a personalized team jersey

Players are responsible for:
Mouthpiece, practice/game shorts or pants, athletic shoes or cleats.

Practices
Practices will begin the week of March 10. Teams practice once per week on weekdays (Mon-Fri). Practices are approximately 1 hour each and occur at Fluvanna Middle School.

Games
Teams play 6 games in a season and a post-season event. Games occur Saturday mornings/afternoons and Sunday afternoons at Fluvanna Middle School. Games will be officiated by FYFC trained Staff Members and Coaches.

Coaches
FYFC Flag Football Coaches must obtain a Flag Football Certification through USA Football. Coaches must complete and pass a background check. Coaches will also assist with the officiating of games.

Rules
FYFC utilizes USA Football Flag Football Rules with some league modifications.
