GIRONDINS USA PLAYER, DANI FUENTES TRAINS IN FRANCE WITH BORDEAUX FEMININES
Girondins USA Player, U19 midfielder Danielle (Dani) Fuentes has been called to the Bordeaux Feminines First Team in France. CEO of Girondins USA and Head Coach Nenad Vilotijevic arrived in Bordeaux with Fuentes on Tuesday. They are spending one week at the Girondins professional facilities in Bordeaux France. Girondins USA Director of Coaching and former Bordeaux France player, Nisa Saveljic is also in France with Vilotijevic and Fuentes.
Each day Fuentes trains with the FC Girondins de Bordeaux Feminines squad. At the end of the try out week, Fuentes hopes she will be selected to officially join the club as a member of the Division 1 squad.
Initially, Girondins USA player, Dani was immediately welcomed by Girondins Bordeaux coaching staff and players. Her first training session Tuesday evening included strength and conditioning drills.
Two training sessions on Wednesday for the Girondins USA player, Fuentes, saw her on the pitch with the Feminines squad. The Bordeaux Feminines coaches ran numerous tactical drills as well as small-sided inter squad competitions.
Supporting her from the sidelines are Vilotijevic and Saveljic, Girondins USA CEO and Director of Coaching.
FUENTES TRAINS WITH PIERROT LABAT, FORMER BORDEAUX TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Additionally, on Thursday, FC Girondins de Bordeaux France’s former Technical Director, Pierrot Labat ran a personal training session with Fuentes. Labat is a technical master and coach to such former players as Bixente Lizarazu, Zinedine Zidane, Didier Deschamps and Christophe Dugarry.
Labat has scheduled a second session with Girondins USA player Dani Fuentes on Friday.

Furthermore, if selected to join the Bordeaux Feminines Division 1 squad Fuentes will report back to Bordeaux, France this summer as an official member of the club. She will begin to train and compete with the Bordeaux Feminines Division 1 squad immediately.
