Tee Ball

All practices and games involve hitting off of a tee and the use of a softer baseball (rubber or nylon) to reduce a chance of any injuries occurring. Teams consist of 6-10 players and all games will be played at the MaryD soccer field on smaller cut-out fields, which are all grass fields.

Teams will be organized based on home location to assist in any possible car pooling that may be needed.

MANDATORY FUNDRAISING: Each player must sell 5 Kowalonek's Meat Trays at $7.00 each, or, you may choose to pay a buyout fee for the $35.00 required. You will be asked this question during the course of this registration.

Rosters will be announced on Saturday, April 27th, 2024. Your assigned Coach will reach out to you in the following 48 hours to inform you of when practices will be, which will start the following week of April 29th.

Opening Day and Pictures will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024.

Biddy League is an instructional level for players aged 6 to 8 years old which utilizes a pitching machine for a portion of the season as well as Coach pitching. Toward the end half of the season, players will begin pitching as well, approximately 3 innings per game.

MANDATORY FUNDRAISER: 8 Lottery tickets at $5.00 each and 5 Kowalonek's Meat Trays at $7.00 each. If you prefer to purchase a Buyout for the Fundraiser that option is available within this registration process. The buyout is $75.00 in addition to the registration fee.

If any 8 year old player (if a player turns 8 on or before 8/31/2024 his league age is considered "8") wishes to attend tryouts for our Minor Little League Division (Ages 8-10) they will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 at 11:00am in the Tamaqua High School gymnasium. You are not required to register for the Minor division to do so. Just email us at [email protected] to inform us of your interest in trying out. Again, this is for league age 8 year olds only. 6 and 7 year olds must play in the Biddy level.

Teams will be put together based on location as to aide in car pooling. Special requests shall be emailed to our Gmail account listed above. We will try to accommodate you as best we can. Rosters will be announced on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 with practices beginning the following week. Your coach will reach out to you after that date.
