Tee Ball
The Tee Ball program is for players 4-6 years old (with an option for 7 year-olds) who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball players hit a ball off of a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to have fun, to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and softball to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.
Minor League Baseball and Softball
Minor League Baseball programs for boys and girls may be operated within each division for younger players with less experience. The minor league may be players ages 5-11.
Divisions may be established within the Minor League for “machine pitch,” “coach-pitch” or “player-pitch.” By local option, a player who is league-age 5 or 6 (use the Little League Age Calculator to determine your child’s League Age for the current year) for the current season and has played a year in Tee Ball is eligible to participate in a coach-pitch division.
Coach-pitch helps prepare children ages 6-8 for the "player-pitch" division.
The goal of the Minor League is to prepare children for eventual selection to a Major Division Team. The goal of the Minor League division is to provide flexibility, develop players, and most importantly, have fun.
Players who are league age 8-10 are eligible to be selected to a Minor League Division team (player pitch) for the regular season.
Little League – Major Division Baseball and Softball
