We offer a programs throughout the year for all ages! We encourage participants of all ages and skill levels to come out and join us!

Challenger Divisions

[*League Age is determined based on players ages as of August 31, 2019]

Our Challenger division is design to provide a safe and fun environment for players with physical and intellectual disabilities

Players who are league age 4-18 are eligible to register for our Challenger Division team. If a player is still in school and the league is not operating a Senior League Challenger Division, a local league may allow players up to age 22.

Players who are league age 15-above, and who have aged out of the Little League Challenger Division ar eligible to register to a Senior League Challenger Division team.

Baseball Divisions

Tee Ball (Ages 3-4)

Tee Ball is the entry-level division for players, ages 3-4. The Tee Ball experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. This 10-week parent-and-me division plays on both a dirt or grass fields with 50’ foot bases, and a combination of hitting off a tee or coach pitch. All players bat and play the field each inning. The roster size for Tee Ball team average 13-15 players, with a season featuring 1 practice per week and a single game played on Saturdays.

 

Coach Pitch (Ages 5-7) 1st year Players

Coach-Pitch accommodates Tee Ball players and those that have pervious Tee Ball experience, including first time 5-7 year old players. This Introductory 10-week program plays on both a dirt or grass field with 60’ foot bases. The primary goals of Coach Pitch are to instruct children’s in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experiences the value of teamwork. Teams will use continuous batting order (everyone bats through) and all players will bat and play the field each inning. In the second half of the season, teams will play three (3) outs and switch innings and advance to machine pitch. Team roster size for Coach-Pitch average 13-15 players, with a season featuring 1 practice per week and a single game played on Saturdays.

Tee Ball and Coach-Pitch typically have 1-2 practices per week with games on Saturday's. Practice schedules are up to the coaches on when and where and how often. (Hint hint: if you manage your own team, you get to choose your practice schedule. You're planning on being at the practices anyway, so why not pick your times and manage a team!). :-)

Machine Pitch (Ages 5-7) 2nd year Players

The goals of Machine Pitch divisions are to continue to teach baseball fundamentals, while introducing a faster speed pitch by machine. Scores and standings are kept ad there are playoffs in this division. This level is best for children who are league age seven (7) and there may be some league age eight (8) children playing down. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and in the second half of the season, players will start pitching from a distance of 40 - 46 feet.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% and more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: PONY Tournaments.

 

Player Pitch (Ages 7-8) 1st year Players

Players that are league age 7 AND have participated in at least one year of Coach-Pitch/Machine Pitch may choose to tryout for Player Pitch division. This division adds player pitching, where pitch counts are enforced. Players will use a combination of Little League and PONY rules with emphasis on player development. Baseball fields with bases 60 feet apart, and pitching from 46 feet. Teams will use continuous batting order (everyone bats through, but innings are switched at 3 outs) and has an options to play with 4 outfielders. 4 Innings Minimum playtime and 1 “at bat” per player per game.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

 

Baseball (League Ages 9-11)

This division will continue skill building on baseball fundamentals from successive divisions. Pitch counts are enforced. Base stealing is added.  Scores and standings are kept and there are playoffs for this division. This level is best for children who are league age eight playing up and there may be some and up to league age 10 participate in this level. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

 

Baseball (League Ages 11-12)

Baseball Division for boys and girls ages 11- 12. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Scores and standings are kept and there are playoffs for this division. This level is best for children who are league age eight playing up and there may be some and up to league age 10 participate in this level.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

 

 

Baseball Intermediate (50/70) (League Age 11 – 13)

Baseball Division utilizes a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. This division is for players league-age 11- 13. The division offers a transition for players between the standard field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths). Many of the Junior League rules will be used such as runners being permitted to lead off bases, runners may attempt to steal at any time, and allowing an on-deck batter.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

 

Juniors (League Age 12-14)

Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 12-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Modified diamond dimensions may be used during the regular season.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

 

Seniors (League Age 13-16)

Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 13-16, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.
