Baseball Divisions

Tee Ball (Ages 3-5 Co-ed)

Tee Ball is the entry-level division for players, ages 3-5. The Tee Ball experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. This 10-week parent-and-me division plays on both a dirt or grass fields with 50’ foot bases, and a Tee. All players bat and play the field each inning. The roster size for Tee Ball team average 11-15 players, with a season featuring 1 practice per week and a single game played on Saturdays.

Machine Pitch (Ages 5-7 Co-ed) 

Machine-Pitch accommodates  including first time 5-7 year old players. This 12-week program plays on both a dirt or grass field with 50’ foot bases. The primary goals of Machine Pitch are to instruct children’s in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experiences the value of teamwork. Teams will use continuous batting order. In the season, teams will play three (3) outs, (5) Runs whichever comes first and switch inning. The Game will be played in accordance with league rules and there will be no tee provided. Team roster size for Machine-Pitch average 10-15 players, with a season featuring 1 practice per week and 15 games played mostly on Saturdays. In May Machine pitch players are eligible to play PONY All Stars 6u as long as they meet age requirements. 

Tee Ball and Machine-Pitch typically have 1-2 practices per week with games on Saturday's. Practice schedules are up to the coaches on when and where and how often. (Hint hint: if you manage your own team, you get to choose your practice schedule. You're planning on being at the practices anyway, so why not pick your times and manage a team!). :-)

Player Pitch (Ages 7-8) 

 This division adds player pitching, where pitch counts are enforced. Players will use a combination of Little League and PONY rules with emphasis on player development. Baseball fields with bases 60 feet apart, and pitching from 40 feet. Teams will use continuous batting order (everyone bats through, but innings are switched at 3 outs). 4 Innings Minimum playtime and 1 “at bat” per player per game.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

Baseball (League Ages 9-10)

This division will continue skill building on baseball fundamentals from successive divisions. Pitch counts are enforced. Base stealing is added.  Scores and standings are kept and there are playoffs for this division. This level is best for children who are league age eight playing up and there may be some and up to league age 10 participate in this level. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

Baseball (League Ages 11-12)

Baseball Division for boys and girls ages 11- 12. The diamond used is a 70-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 50 feet. Scores and standings are kept and there are playoffs for this division.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.

Baseball (League Age 13-14)

Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 13-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Modified diamond dimensions of 54 foot pitching and 80 foot bases may be used during the regular season.

Players with good attendance and participate in 60% or more of team games are eligible for Post-Season Tournaments, such as: Tournament of Champions (TOC), All-STARs and PONY Tournaments.
