Registration Information

We're approaching the Spring 2026 Lacrosse season! Sign your player up soon!

Registration costs for 3-6 graders is $100, K-2 graders is $80. Register before 2/28 for the early bird discount!

A USA Lacrosse membership is required for insurance purposes for ALL players and coaches. The cost of an annual USA Lacrosse membership is $35. If you purchased a membership this winter, your registration is still valid for spring season! (If the USA Lacrosse membership costs $60, not $35, it means that you do not have the correct information. That price is for adults. Each player needs to have their own USA Lacrosse membership. Adult memberships are only required for coaches.)

Players Kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome to sign up for Johnstown Youth Lacrosse. Practices start in early spring and the season goes through mid-June. Teams typically practice twice a week and play a round-robin tournament most weekends.

Team/grade level breakdown is as follows:
Girls K-2

USA Lacrosse Membership:

All players and coaches are required to have a current USA Lacrosse Membership.
Parents are not required to have a USA Lacrosse membership.

Youth memberships cost $35 and is good for an entire year covering winter, spring, and summer lacrosse programs.
When registering, please be sure you do not click the donate button, unless, of course, you want to!

Johnstown Youth Lacrosse Registration

JYL Spring 2026

Programs Levels:

Boys grades 5-6 Girls grades 5-6

Boys grades 3-4 Girls grades 3-4

Boys grades K-2 Girls grades K-2

All levels play games against other teams. Travel is within the Capital District area.

Registration two-step process:

Step 1: Obtain your USA Lacrosse Membership Number at https://membership.usalacrosse.com/login

All participants must have a valid USA Lacrosse membership number to complete step 2.

These memberships are good for one calendar year and will provide required supplemental insurance coverage for the spring season as well as any summer, fall or winter programs.

Cost for the entire year is $35/participant. This is a separate registration.

Boys: helmet, solid color mouthguard, gloves, elbow pads, NOCSEA certified shoulder pads, athletic cup, and stick

Players should have the following personal equipment for the first practice:

Boys: helmet, solid colored mouthguard, gloves, elbow pads, NOCSEA certified shoulder pads, athletic cup, and Stick
Girls: goggles, stick, solid colored mouthguard

Refund Policy

We understand things happen.
Our refund policy is as follows:

Your child's USA Lacrosse membership is non-refundable.
If your child decides to not play before the season begins, you may be entitled to a refund of the JYL program fee minus the service charge and the credit card fees incurred by the program for the initial registration.
We can not issue refunds due to weather.
Once the uniforms are ordered, your program refund amount will be the JYL program fee minus the service charge, the credit card fees, and the uniform cost.
