Registration Policies

REFUND POLICIES
The policy of the ANTELOPE JUNIOR TITANS FOOTBALL AND CHEER is to issue "NO" refunds UNLESS it's due to roster size or a safety risk as deemed by the Antelope Junior Titans Executive Board. The Antelope Junior Titans will not take the request of a parent on any safety concerns. Antelope Junior Titans Executive Board is fully qualified to make that decision. The refund will be issued within 4 weeks after the return of all equipment. All refunds issued due to cuts will be paid in full subtracting a $25.00 processing fee.

REGISTRATION FEES
All football participants must be paid in FULL by July 1st. All cheer participants must be paid in FULL by June 5th.No registration fees will be accepted after the first day of practice. If your child's fees are not paid in full, they will be unable to step on the field and participate in any practices, games or post season.

AJT will NOT hand out any football equipment until all registration fees have been made in full and deposit checks for football equipment and volunteer hours have been received.

"GOOD FAITH DEPOSITS"
AJT requires two "Good Faith" deposits, one for football equipment (football players only) and one for volunteer hours (football players and cheerleaders). The football equipment deposit check is $250 and the volunteer hours deposit check is $200 per participant, these deposits will ensure all loaned AJT football equipment will be returned in good working order and all volunteer hours are completed, then we will return your deposit checks at the end of our season. This deposit will "NOT" be an addition to your registration cost unless you fail to fulfill all of your requirements. AJT will stay in contact with you through-out the season, if you fail to work a shift or fail to have it covered by someone over the age of 16 AJT will deposit your volunteer hours check and you will no longer be asked to work any events. By you signing your registration paperwork you are acknowledging that you understand it is your responsibility to comply and if you choose to do otherwise then your deposits will not be returned.

24 Hour Cooling Off Period

Youth sports can be an emotional experience. The physical activity of the kids can often spill onto the sidelines and into the stands and create strong reactions in coaches and parents. For parents, it is important to separate their child's sports development from game emotions. For this reason, AJT has adopted the "24 Hour Rule" which simply states that coaches will not discuss a game or situation until at least 24 hours after the fact. This important rule does two things. First, it moves the discussion away from the presence of the players. Second, it allows all parties to have time to put things in perspective and "cool off", if necessary. Also, coaches will NOT discuss another player’s playing time, during any discussion the only athlete that will be talked about will be your own.
