Sporting Wesley Chapel offers our
Junior Academy which is specifically designed to offer younger players a higher level of soccer training at an early age in a fun and age appropriate way. We start them off with the technical fundamentals common in all successful players early on. The coaching staff with the direction of the technical director will focus on teaching technical skills and promoting a passion for the game. This will lead to many more years of enjoyment and success on the field for them. Our mission for the Academy is to provide a pathway to becoming a successful competitive player that will make an immediate impact on the field.
IMPORTANT: Registration remains open all season long. We will accept players at any time during the year and will prorate the training fees. If you are not happy where you are, or just moved into the area please give us a try.
Frequently Asked Questions:
- For the 2022 season, The Academy will accept children born in calendar years 2015-2016-2017.
- We will run the Jr. Academy in two separate seasons.
- The Fall Season will run from August 22nd to December 16th.
- The Spring Season will run from January 10th to May 25th.
- Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:15 to 7:30
- We hold game nights a few times per month on Fridays at 6:30 to 7:30 we recommend you try to attend as many as possible, but it is not required you attend them all.
- All Practices and games are held at the Wesley Chapel District Park MAP
- There will be no weekend travel unless we put together a scrimmage vs another club in the very immediate range.

What my fees cover?2. Training by licensed and paid coaches twice a week plus a regular game nights.

5. $110 goes towards the purchase of the 2022-2024 custom competitive Uniforms. These uniforms can be used for 2 years in any Sporting competitive or recreational league. Additional uniform Items can be purchased such as socks, practice shirts and shorts at the team store.
IMPORTANT
We do not hold tryouts for this group. However we do evaluate the player for the necessary physical and psychological abilities to be trained. We also use the evaluations to sort players into groups that will best fit their training levels. If the player is motivated to learn, pays attention, and has the mobility to perform training they will be accepted regardless of their soccer experience or technical abilities.
If you missed the initial evaluation date, don't worry. We will be happy to evaluate your player at any of our weekly sessions.
