East Greenwich Little League Alumni Scholarship
The East Greenwich Little League annual scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior of good character, academic achievement and community involvement who has participated in the East Greenwich Little League program (baseball or softball).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must have participated in four (4) or more seasons of baseball or softball for the East Greenwich Little League.
- Applicant must have demonstrated good character during his/her time participating in the program (Baseball or Softball).
- Minimum 3.0 GPA. Please submit a copy of your transcript with your application.
- Applicant must submit two (2) letters of recommendation to attest to character, academic achievement and/or community involvement.
- Prefer one (1) letter to be from a former Little League coach.
- Additional letter could be from current coach, teacher, administrator, etc.
- Applicant must submit an essay, in 300 words or less, discussing individual’s Little League experience. Eligibility is not based upon athletic achievement.
- The deadline to apply is March 31, 2024.
- One (1) $1,500 scholarship will be awarded in June 2024.
Each scholarship application will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee of the East Greenwich Little League Board. The Scholarship Committee consists of five (5) members of the current East Greenwich Little League Board.

March 31, 2024 in order for the application to qualify for consideration for the 2023 scholarship.
