PSLNLL Division Descriptions:

Tee Ball is the introduction to the game of baseball for 4-6 year old's in a non-competitive program focused on fun, fitness and fundamentals. PSLNLL strives to provide a Tee Ball experience focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game and basic baseball skills with an eye on preparing players for the next levels of Little League. By providing a fun and exciting experience, the children will not only enjoy their baseball season but will be open to experience other physical activities that promote health and fitness. Tee Ball also serves as the gateway for parents and guardians to enter the realm of coaching and volunteering which is the backbone of Little League. Your participation matters! Tee Ballers and their Parents can expect two practices a week during the pre-season and one field practice a week during the regular season. All games will be played at Sportsman in Port St. Lucie.

Rookies Machine Pitch is an instructional division that introduces players aged 6-8 to the beginning of the youth baseball atmosphere. PSLNLL promotes further skill development, general baseball knowledge and situational awareness.  Building off of Tee Ball, more advanced drills and a higher baseball IQ are stressed in a fun, instructional environment. Rookies also serves as a great training ground for Coaches who are encouraged to expand their practices and refine their knowledge of Little League guidelines. Players and their Parents can expect two practices a week during the pre-season and one field practice a week during the regular season. All games will be played at Sportsman Park in Port St. Lucie.

Minors Machine Pitch is a developmental division with an introduction to competitiveness for players ages 6-10. The division stresses sportsmanship, team building, quality playing time and acquiring game skills. Building upon Rookies Machine Pitch, players will be encouraged to play all positions as they are ultimately preparing for the Minors Player Pitch Division. Additionally, the score of each game is kept with a tournament at the end of the season and a championship game. Minor Machine also serves as a great training ground for Coaches who are encouraged to expand their practices and refine their knowledge of Little League guidelines. Players and their Parents can expect two practices a week during the pre season and one field practice a week during the regular season. All games will be played at Sportsman in Port St. Lucie.

Minors Player Pitch is a competitive division for players ages 7-11, and it's the first exposure to the baseball game they will play going forward. This division introduces players to "live" pitching and a true baseball experience where the score is kept, umpires are part of the game, a tournament at the end of the season with a championship game, and the winner will compete in the District Tournament of Champions. The Division is seen as a developmental league stressing sportsmanship, team building, quality playing time and acquiring game skills to increase their baseball IQ. Building upon Minors Machine Pitch, players will be encouraged to play all positions as they are ultimately preparing for the Majors Division. Players and their Parents can expect two practices a week during the pre season and one field practice a week during the regular season. All games will be played at Sportsman in Port St. Lucie.

Majors Division
 is a highly competitive division for ages 10-12. There are umpires and a tournament at the end of the season with a championship game and the winner will compete in the District Tournament of Champions. This is the division that competes in Williamsport, PA for the Little League World Series. While games are competitive in nature, in keeping with our league philosophy, fun, sportsmanship and skills development remains paramount. Majors players will be exposed to further instruction to enhance their understanding of the game and game situations as well as improve their physical prowess. Position specific instruction may be introduced at this level. Players and their Parents can expect two practices a week during the pre-season and one field practice a week during the regular season. All games will be played at Sportsman in Port St. Lucie.

Seniors is a competitive division for ages 13-16. Players will be exposed to further instruction to enhance their understanding of the game, and position specific instruction will be introduced at this level. This division uses a conventional 90 foot diamond and 60'6" pitching distance. There are umpires and a tournament at the end of the season with a championship game and the winner will compete in the District Tournament of Champions. While games are competitive in nature, in keeping with our league philosophy, fun, sportsmanship and skills development remains paramount. Players and their Parents can expect two practices a week during the pre-season and one field practice a week during the regular season. All games will be played at Sportsman in Port St. Lucie. **Division availability is based on participation.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER.
PSLNLL serves Port St. Lucie. Players are required to live within the PSLNLL boundary or go to school within the boundary to be eligible to participate in the league. These boundaries are set by Little League International. Please use the Little League finder app, Little League Finder, to determine whether you are eligible to play at Port Saint Lucie National Little League BEFORE registering. ALL Refunds will be charged a $25 service fee.

Must have all required documents! 
Birth Certificate, School Form or 3 proofs of Residence.

To sign up your child, simply create a Parental Account and then follow the steps for registration.  You will be pointed to the appropriate division based on you child's age.  You child will be registered under your account.

PLAYERS MUST REGISTER WITH THEIR ASSIGNED AGE GROUP

If a player would like to try out to play up a division or down a division, they must attend evaluations for both divisions. Please refer to the PSLNLL Policy and Procedure manual for our policy on playing up or down. 

ALL parents/guardians in PSLNLL are required to work Game Changer or Score Board.

PSL National Little League boundaries include those returning and new players who reside in the mailing zip codes of 34983 or 34986

If you do not reside within the league boundary but your child attends one of these schools, you must provide proof of enrollment to be eligible for registration.
