Clock-JV Girls |
JV - Eight (8) minute periods using a running clock that stops on all fouls and time outs. The last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter, the clock stops on all whistles, and continues into overtime. |
Overtime is three (3) minutes. |
Full court pressing is allowed unless winning by 20. |
If team is winning by 20, running clock will occur. Stoppages only for timeouts and injuries. |
Timeouts for game- 3 full, 2-30 second. 1 full only for overtime, no carry over for timeouts into overtime.

• Each team plays two games – a first game, then either a Consolation or Championship game. All championship games are on Sunday. |
• Normal Diocesan League rules apply for both JV and Varsity games. This includes full court defenses (presses). No press allowed with a lead greater than 20 points. |
• Normal Diocesan League code of conduct rules apply for all games. |
• The teams recite the Diocesan Pre-Game Prayer before every game. |
• Head Coaches only may stand in the area near the scorer’s table. |
