Q: How will Shikellamy Little League divide ages for each level of play?

A: We plan to offer the following divisions...

T-ball for boys and girls ages 4-5

Rookies for boys and girls ages 6-7

Minors boys baseball ages 8-9

Minors girls softball ages 8-9

Majors boys baseball ages 10-12

Majors girls softball ages 10-12

Juniors boys baseball ages 13-14

Seniors boys baseball ages 15-16

Please note* These are the traditional divisions suggested by Little League International. As a league, we can decide to offer additional divisions like, girls coach pitch softball for ages 6-7 or girls junior softball for ages 13-14, IF the enrollment numbers and interest from parents are justified. We will never say no to a player if we can find a way to offer them a program of their choice!
Also, players who display an advanced understanding of the game or excel on the field may be considered for a higher division pending board approval. In addtion, players who require a little more development may choose to play down a division pending board approval.
