CITY OF CLEARWATER REC CARD REQUIREMENT
YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR REC CARD AT A CLEARWATER RECREATION CENTER IN PERSON
Application can be downloaded, printed and brought to any Clearwater Rec Center.
Non-resident recreation cards are for people living outside Clearwater city limits and who do not pay Clearwater property taxes.
If you would like to apply for a resident card, you will need to provide proof of residency. Any two (2) of the following original documents will be sufficient. Photocopies are not acceptable.
- A current State of Florida photo identification card or current vehicle registration.
- A current, original voter identification card showing the City as "CW".
- Any original utility bill less than 90 days old that shows applicant’s name and a city of Clearwater residential address as the service address. "Utility" includes electric, telephone, water, and/or cable bills.
- A current year, original, property tax bill (or notice) in your name showing a city of Clearwater property address.
- An original notarized or registered deed, mortgage or lease showing your name as the owner or occupant at that city of Clearwater address.
- An original notarized statement from an adult relative that you are a full-time resident in the home and any other two proofs listed above showing that the home has a city of Clearwater address.
For proof of dependency, a
birth certificate or other proof of dependency may be required.
For a family recreation card, two individuals with a Marriage License or a Registered Domestic Partnership with the city of Clearwater or Pinellas County, Florida, or a legal guardian and their children who live in the same household, who are 18 years of age or under, or less than 23 years of age and a full-time college student. Verification of any age or family status may be required.
Individual Recreation Cards:
$7.49 (Resident)
$128.40 (Non-Resident YOUTH SPORTS CARD) - This card is only valid for non-resident participation in the youth co-sponsored organizations only and not the Rec Centers.
Family Recreation Cards:
$35 (Resident)
$180+tax (Non-Resident YOUTH SPORTS CARD) - This card is only valid for non-resident participation in the youth co-sponsored organizations only and not the Rec Centers for families with MULTIPLE children.
