TNT would like to announce the initial plans for the 2024-2025 Girls Club season tryouts.
These plans will be amended as needed, but we wanted to communicate our plans as we know them today.

15U National - Friday, July 26 - 5:30pm- 7:30pm
16U National - Friday, July 26 - 8pm- 10pm
17U National - Saturday, July 27 - 9am-11am

Callbacks
Callbacks are a way to further evaluate players. All players still seeking a spot are encouraged to attend.
The National Callback dates are (if necessary):
15U - Tuesday, July 30 - 6pm-8pm

17U - Tuesday, July 30 - 8pm-10pm

Per KRVA, Offers can be extended on July 31 and are valid for 48 hours.

FAQ
Why is TNT holding Summer Tryouts? TNT takes pride in not simply following the crowd but doing what is best for the players, coaches and families. Last year, TNT did not hold summer tryouts because 1) they were announced too late for families to change vacation plans, and 2) A majority of our players and families did not want them. Based on feedback from players and families in 2024, we believe it is important to conduct our National Team tryouts at the same time as other clubs.
Who are the coaches on the team? Coaches will be published prior to the tryout. Age group coaches will be conducting open gyms and tryout prep camps so players and parents can get to know the coaches.
Why aren’t you holding all tryouts in July?
We still believe that summers are for families. We also believe that players will improve during their school seasons. For this reason, the majority of the TNT tryouts will still take place in October and November.
Will all National teams spots be extended in July? The goal is to fill the teams that are being offered. However, there may be cases where we do not fill the entire roster in July. In this case, we will use the November tryouts to fill all remaining spots.
Will any additional National Teams be offered in July?
If there are enough players in July that are interested in playing for a National team, and the talent level supports a National team, and qualified coaches are available, TNT will have the ability to create additional National Teams in July.
What if I want to try out for a National Team, but can not attend the tryout due to a family vacation?
We totally get it. If you have a family vacation already planned, we can arrange to have coaches perform the tryout evaluations at the open gyms events or tryout prep camp. We would love to see you try out with the other girls, but you can still make the team if you are not able to make the tryout. Please coordinate with us in advance if you are not able to attend the tryout date.
Can anyone tryout for a National Team?
Yes, but keep in mind that there are a limited number of spots being offered in July. We encourage players to attend the open gyms and prep clinics as a way to measure where they stand. If you have any questions, we suggest speaking to the coaches at the open gyms to get an honest evaluation of your chances to make one of the July National teams.
What if I don’t get a National Team offer in July? Can I still try out in the fall?
TNT will only make you pay for a tryout once. If you try out in July and are not offered a spot, you are automatically registered for the fall tryout.
Will any National Teams be offered in November?
If there are enough players in November that are interested in playing for a National team, the talent level supports a National team, and qualified coaches are available, TNT may create additional National Teams in November.
TNT will continue to evaluate and refine our tryout plan. Additional announcements will be posted as more information is known.
