What are the age groups for Little League?
Baseball Divisions:
- Tee Ball (ages 4–7)
- A, AA, AAA League (ages 5–12)
- Major Division (ages 9–12)
- Intermediate (50/70) (11-13)
- Junior League (ages 12–14)
- Senior League (ages 13–16)
How do I register my child for Little League?
Access the registration link found in the top navigation tabs. If registration is currently open, the link will direct you to the appropriate sign-up form.
Is my child eligible to play at Arlington LL?
Players league age seven (7) and under may register in any Little League program without
respect to any geography-related eligibility or school eligibility requirements. Players will have full tournament eligibility in the program in which they are registered provided they have continuous and unbroken participation within the specific league. What if my child is league age 8-16 and wants to play at Arlington but does not meet eligibility requirements?
- Players league age eight (8) through sixteen (16) participation eligibility is based on residency,
school enrollment or uninterrupted participation since age seven (7).
- Players league age 8 to 16 not residing or attending school within the boundary of any league are
required to work through the Charter Committee for participation waiver.
- Players league age 8 to 16 residing or attending school within the boundary of a league and
wishing to play in another league must apply for a participation waiver through the Charter
Committee waiver. Contact a board member for more information.
What if I have one player league age 4-7 and the second 8-16?
- Players who have participated in the league without a break in participation since league age
seven (7), OR the sibling of a player who is an active participant league age (7) or younger OR
the sibling of an active player in the league who has participated in the league without a break in
participation since league age seven (7), are eligible to continue participation in the league
provided they maintain continuous and unbroken participation within the league and regular
season play.
- NOTE 1: This option only applies to players born on or after September 1, 2017 (Baseball).
- NOTE 2: A player may only qualify based on a sibling who initially gained eligibility under
Regulation II(a)(1) if that sibling is an active participant in the league for the current season.
What equipment does my child need?
- Required: Glove, Helmet, Cleats, Bat, Protective Cup
- Required Uniform: Pants, Belt, Socks
- Provided by league: Team Jersey, Team Hat, Shared catcher’s gear
Are there volunteer opportunities?
Yes! We encourage community involvement. Please consider volunteering. The league is ran 100% by volunteers. Please look at volunteer opportunities tab under registration. Available roles include:
- Coaching
- Team Parent
- Field Maintenance
- Concession Stand Help
- Board Membership
What are the costs to participate?

How are teams formed?
Teams are formed based on:
- League Age for divisions
- Skill evaluations
- Coach selections for (Tee-Ball and Single A)
- Drafts selections (AA divisions and up)
What safety protocols are in place?
Our league prioritizes player safety through:
- Regular equipment checks
- First aid and medical protocols
- Weather delay/cancellation policies
- Background checks for volunteers
How do I stay informed about schedule updates?
All game and practice schedules are available under the Game Schedule tab. Be sure to check there regularly for any updates or changes.
When are games played?
Typically each team will have one weekday game and one Saturday game. Games will be played on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
When are practices?
Practices vary and are based off Manager/Coach preference.
How far is the pitchers mound from home plate?
Varies by Division:
- AA - Majors uses a distance of 46ft
- 50/70 use a distance of 50ft
- Juniors and above use a distance of 60ft
