How long is the season?
The regular season for Little League is Spring Season running mid March-beginning of June.
Fall ball is typically offered to machine pitch and minor divisions running beginning of September to mid October.
How often are there practices/games?
Tee ball has a game or practice 2x/week (typically Wednesday and Saturday).
Machine Pitch and Minors has a game or practice 3x/week.
Majors has a game or practice 3-4x/week.
When will I know my child's practice/game schedule?
Schedules are created once teams have been selected and your child has been assigned a coach. Expect to hear from your team's coach 1-2 weeks prior to practice start date regarding practice schedule. Game schedule is released ~1 week ahead of opening day.
*Schedule rely heavily on field availability, number of teams, district scheduling for Minors and Majors.
Who are the coaches?
North Denver Little League is 100% volunteer run. The board of directors, coaches, and team parents are all volunteers. There is no paid staff.
We are always looking for volunteers! If interested, please volunteer during the registration process.
Where do you play?
Younger age divisions (Tee ball and Machine Pitch) play at 46th and Pecos baseball field and Sloan's Lake field. Occasionally, there will be games in Westminster (Kennedy Field or Orchard Park).
Older age divisions (Minors and Majors) play in Westminster, NW Denver, Northglenn, and Arvada.
Are there tryouts?
For Minors and Major Divisions there are evaluations to determine each child's skill level and position interest to ensure team's have balance.
