2026 Baseball Divisions are as follows.

Major league baseball is the highest level of competition in Little League.  All players league age 10 through 12 are eligible to play.  Players participate in a tryout and are selected to teams through a draft.  Teams are limited to 12 players so depending on the number of teams the number of 10 year old's selected for the majors varies from year to year.  Those 10 year old's not drafted into the majors will be drafted on a team in the minors.

Minor League Baseball is a kid pitch level and includes a single elimination tournament at the end of the season.  All players league age 8 through 10 are eligible to play at this level. Players participate in a tryout and are selected to teams through a draft.  Teams are limited to 12 players so depending on the number of teams the number of 8 year old's selected for the minors varies from year to year.  Those 8 year old's not drafted into the minors will be drafted on a team in the rookie division.

The rookie division is a competitive level of coach pitch for players league age 6 through 8.  Players participate in a tryout and are selected to teams through a draft. Players are allowed a maximum of 5 pitches, there are strike outs, no batting tee is allowed, and players are allowed to advance on over throws, standings are kept and at the end of the season there is a single elimination tournament.  Players participate in a tryout and are selected to teams through a draft. ** Any player league age 6 that wants to be eligible for the rookie draft needs to attend the skills evaluation. The number of 6 year olds making it will depend on the number of slots needed to fill teams.

The Introductory Division is intended for 6 year old players but can include some 5 year old's(any 5 year old wishing to play coach pitch must have 1 year of teeball at THNLL). This division is meant to be a transition from tee ball to the rookie division which is competitive.  For the first half of the season players are allowed 5 pitches then have the opportunity using a batting tee, also teams bat their entire line up.  As the season progresses the rules change to the rookie rules with strike outs, etc.  Standings are not kept and there is no tournament at the end of the season. 

Tee Ball is the first level of Little League, it is intended to introduce players to the game of baseball.  Players are taught proper batting, catching and throwing techniques.  Each team bats it's entire line up each inning using a batting tee.  As the season progresses coaches may pitch to the players to give them an opportunity to hit a pitched ball, after several pitches the player will be offered the tee.

We want every child to have the chance to play! The cost to participate in Terre Haute North Little League Baseball is $150 per player ($10 off per sibling), (Due at the time of Registration), and families have flexible options to cover the cost:
