Steve Carse

Since 2021, Steven has been umpiring, stepping up to fill the shortage caused by COVID. He regularly attends Little League clinics in Waco, including academies and specialized sessions on plate mechanics and four-umpire systems. Passionate about refining his skills to meet Little League standards, Steven enjoys mentoring experienced, rookie, and junior umpires alike.

He primarily umpires at New Braunfels Little League but has also called games at Canyon Lake, Bulverde, and McAllister Park. Steve has umpired several City Championships, Special Tournaments, District and Sectional Little League Tournaments in and around San Antonio and New Braunfels. In 2025, he umpired the Junior Baseball Division at the Texas East State Baseball Tournament.

Steve is committed to ongoing growth, aiming for a Regional assignment and ultimately a World Series role. In 2025 he joined District 31 umpire staff and is looking forward to the opportunity across the district.
