This is for U9-U15 Select TRYOUTS ONLY. Your child is not guaranteed a spot on a team unless they are selected during tryouts.

Please do NOT register for both rec and select. If your child is not selected, we will send out a code to get the early bird price for rec.

JUSA Select soccer is a more advanced Recreational league (Fall Season only), and acts as a bridge between Recreation and competitive Chelsea club soccer. This is a good path for Rec All-Star players to follow if they eventually want to move to a Club team, or just want a more competitive level of play across several local organizations all year round. JUSA Select teams play in the Coast Soccer League (CSL) against teams with similar skill sets from cities all over L.A. and Orange counties.

Please note that players may be selected on teams that do not practice in the same city in which you live. Practices may be in Yorba Linda or Placentia.

Current Chelsea SC, US Club, Cal South, and Competitive Level Players from any league cannot participate in Rec, Rec Gold, or Select Programs to protect the fairness of competition.

3/16 - 4/19 Tryout Registration (ALL players including freezes)

4/15 Freeze Forms Deadline

4/20-4/24 Tryouts (Times TBD based on age division)

4/26 Select Team Draft (Coaches only)

5/1 - 5/31 Uniform ordering, team acceptances

5/12 Last Day of Acceptance / First payment due

6/20 Final payment due

7/1 Season starts / Select Team Practices can begin

Girls U9-U10 5:30-6:15, Check-in at 5:00 p.m.

Girls U11-U12 6:30-7:15, Check-in at 6:00 p.m.

Select Season Fees

There are no costs to attend tryouts.

What is included in Select Fees?

Uniforms: Players choose their own number.

2 jerseys - Home (White) and Away (Blue)

1 pair of game shorts

2 pairs of socks - Home and Away

2 Dri-Fit practice shirts (wear to weekly practices)

1 Soccer Ball per player - size 4 or 5
