Welcome to the Home of Little League Girls Softball in Oceanside, NY
Oceanside Softball Little League offers girls softball programs for ages 4–16 in Oceanside, NY, including Tee Ball, Machine Pitch, Minors, Majors, Juniors, and Seniors divisions. Each level is designed to support skill development, teamwork, and a love of the game.
Girls Tee Ball:
Girls only Tee Ball for girls ages 4-6 (See Age Chart)
Tee Ball introduces young girls to the game in a fun, low-pressure environment. Players learn basic hitting off a tee, throwing, catching,
and running the bases while building confidence and teamwork. Games are non-competitive and designed to foster a love of the game.
Machine/Coach Pitch Softball:
Girls age 7&8 (See Age Chart)
Machine Pitch uses a pitching machine to help girls develop hitting skills while continuing to learn throwing, catching, and base-running.
This division bridges the gap between Tee Ball and player-pitch leagues in a fun, instructional environment. Games are played using
official softball rules, giving players their first experience with structured competition beyond Tee Ball.

Girls Age 9&10 (See Age Chart)
Minors introduces player pitching in a supportive, skill-building environment. Players learn game rules, strategy, hitting, fielding, and
base-running, preparing them for competitive play. Girls at this level also have the opportunity to participate in the Little League
Softball District tournaments, representing Oceanside in official league competition.
Majors:
Girls Age 11&12 (See Age Chart)
Majors provides structured, competitive play for girls 11–12 years old. Players refine advanced skills, develop game awareness, and
prepare for middle school and higher-level softball. Girls at this level also have the opportunity to participate in the Little League
Softball District tournaments, representing Oceanside in official league competition as part of the Little League Softball World Series
Tournament.
Juniors:
Girls Age 13&14 (See Age Chart)
Juniors is a fast-paced, competitive division for girls 13–14. Athletes develop advanced skills and strategy while preparing for high
school-level softball in a supportive environment focused on teamwork and leadership
Seniors:
Girls Age 15&16 (See Age Chart)
Seniors is the highest level of Oceanside Softball, emphasizing competitive gameplay, leadership, and advanced skill development.
This division prepares players for high school softball while promoting teamwork, dedication, and a lifelong love of the game.
