LAVERGNE BASEBALL SOFTBALL LEAGUE (LBSL) is a non-profit baseball organization that utilizes baseball as a way for players (and coaches) to learn valuable skills.     Mission: La Vergne Baseball Softball League is and will be dedicated to this community to offer a fun, safe, and  educational environment in which to play  baseball and softball. Our focus is on the athletes that will participate   in this program, building their skill level, teaching fundamentals increasing their ability to love Americas favorite past time. We will provide a structure on which our volunteers are to follow. We will provide an aspect of the game that imposes value of the game, imposes value to their self worth and good moral value, will abide by good sportsmanship LBSL is a program that utilizes baseball as a way for players (and coaches) to learn valuable life skills.  Our program is designed to be both instructional and fun. The objective is to teach fundamental skills and promote good sportsmanship and fair play.   We encourage all family members to get involved if they are able. It is our volunteers that make the season successful for your kids. The league has several opportunities for parents to get involved, both on and off the field.  You can always help your respective coaches once teams are assigned as well. LBSL depends entirely on the time and effort of volunteers. LBSL relies primarily on registration fees to pay expenses.  LBSL primary areas of expense - uniforms, equipment, umpires and field maintenance.
