ABOUT US
Highlights

The mission of the Police Athletic League of Clay County, Inc. (Clay PAL) is to work together with our community to prevent juvenile crime and violence by building the bond between law enforcement officers and children. The Police Athletic League of Clay County, Inc. is a youth athletic program managed by members of the Clay County Sheriff's Office and by dozens of volunteers.

We are extremely thrilled to announce that Clay PAL has joined the North Florida Youth Football Conference ("NFYFC") for the 2019 season!! NFYFC is a proud member of the Amateur Athletic Union ("AAU") which is the largest national sports organization that has been around since 1888.

By blending together different aspects of youth football programs from across the United States, the mission of NFYFC is to create a safe, fun and competitive environment for today's youth to play tackle football, which aligns perfectly with the goals of Clay PAL. NFYFC is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of tackle football, including the traditional 3-point stance (which our previous conference eliminated as of this year). NFYFC does not exclude any players based on size or capability, but does still offer a special "older but lighter" category for each age division to fit the needs of our smaller participants, even 13-year-olds who weigh 100 pounds or less can continue playing this season!

Other member associations of NFYFC include Oakleaf, Middleburg, OPAA, Callahan, Ponte Vedra and Fernandina Beach so we will be playing most of the same friendly opponents that we have played in years past.
