Winter Park Baseball is part of the Optimist Club of Winter Park.  We have provided a youth baseball program in Wilmington, North Carolina since 1954.  Each spring season we sponsor a Strike Out Childhood Cancer Tournament and Home Run Derby with all proceeds donated to fund cancer research, pediatric care, and help local families with medical expenses.  We also have a Nourish NC food drive each year in honor of Alex Newsome the benefits hundreds of local children in our community.
