The purpose of the riverdale bambino is to provide youth baseball and softball leagues for the community of riverdale and the surrounding areas. Also to develop, promote and regulate amateur baseball and softball. To provide the league with proper safeguards in accordance with the spirit of true sportsmanship, encourage the unification of all baseball and softball teams and train and use qualified umpires to advance the cause of amateur baseball and softball, and to promote and conduct league baseball and softball games and tournaments.
