The WaveRiders are made up of families from the Watermill and RounTrey neighborhoods plus surrounding communities. The WaveRiders inaugural season in the Chesterfield Aquatic League was in 2008.  In 2008 and 2009, the team was awarded CAL's most improved team trophy and has since gone on to win numerous league championships.
