Big Spring Midget Football Association (BSMFA) serves as a youth program for for Football and Cheerleading in Newville, PA. One of the primary goals of the organization is to prepare athletes for higher levels of competition at the Middle School and High School level. BSMFA is not directly affiliated with the Big Spring School District.  BSMFA is committed to providing a positive athletic experience, focusing on developing sportsmanship, character, attitude, and teamwork among participants, aiming to nurture healthier and happier community members.

Team Organization:

Football Teams: Organized by age groups determined by April 30th
Smurfs: Ages 5-7
Pee-Wees: Ages 8-9
Ponies: Ages 10-11

Cheerleaders: Organized by grade levels.

Participation Requirements:
  Age: Children must be at least 5 years old by April 30 and no older than 13 on April 30.
