I hope this message finds you well and looking forward to a beautiful summer! With that in mind, we are only 2 short months away from the start of football season! Online registration is up and running for both football and cheer, just follow the link on our webpage www.newhartfordpw.com. We are excited to build off of last season’s successes at all levels of football and cheer. We will be offering opportunities at most all levels including Flag, 8U, 10U, and hopefully 12U. I enoucage ALL 12U parents to register ASAP in order to make a determination on our ability to field a team. We will also be participating in the Tri-Valley Cheer Competition on October 8 at the Adirondack Bank Center.

Over the past year we have purchased some new helmets, reconditioned all of our shoulder pads, and purchased additional Cheer uniforms. We have begun both our helmet and shoulder pad replacement cycles to keep our equipment up-to-date and safe for our kids. In order to make this happen we depend upon our registrations and fundraising efforts. Unfortunately, you will see a little bump in our Registration Fee to offset the costs associated with the rising costs of equipment and uniform replacement. We will still run the Raffle Ticket Fundraiser, as well as a Chicken BBQ/Pass, Punt, and Kick competition on July 13th starting at 5:00 pm. There will be in-person registration, a Chicken BBQ, New Hartford Pop Warner swag for sale, as well as a competition for the kids. It will be a great evening for New Hartford Pop Warner Football and Cheer. 

We are actively recruiting volunteers for that day, as well as looking for volunteers in general, especially when we have home games 1) "Chain Gang", 2) Commissioner (both Home and Away), 3) announcer/scorekeepers and 4) Team Moms. We have done our best to reduce obligations but need parents to support our gameday operations. Team Moms will be organizing this effort as soon as the schedule is rolled out.
