Beginner skateboarders will learn the fundamental skills and rules of safe skateboarding on
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30pm to 5:30pm  OR
Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 5:30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 11am.
AT The New Life Assembly of God on the basketball courts (behind Denny's.)

Beginners will learn:
*  Skateboard and safety equipment orientation
*  Body consciousness and balance
*  How to fall and “bail out” safely
*  How to push, turn and stop on a flat surface
*  Transition from flat to curved surface

As beginners progress, more fundamental skills will be added to build a solid foundation of knowledge and muscle memory:
*  Use ramps and rails to learn about skatepark "flow"
*  Fundamental skatepark etiquette and "dropping in"
*  Work with pro-am mentors to perfect or learn new skills and tricks
*  Opportunities to win custom skateboards or equipment

Advanced skateboarders - - we want to sponsor you to compete or train you to be coaches.  Earn money skateboarding!
