The Southpointe Rink Rats are pleased to welcome back former NHL player and Stanley Cup Champion, Tyler Kennedy, as an Exclusive Skill Instruction partner for the 2019-2020 season.  Mr. Kennedy played in over 500 NHL games, including 6 seasons in Pittsburgh, winning the Stanley Cup during the 2008-09 campaign.  Tyler has recently led programs within our organization, including individual team training sessions, the summer squirt training program, and a two-day summer camp.

Tyler will provide training sessions to each Squirt through Midget level team within our organization throughout the 2019-20 season.  The 50-minute training sessions will occur during normal practice time and will be coordinated with each team’s head coach.  The Rink Rats are the only organization in the South Hills that will offer this opportunity to its players.  We look forward to a great 2019-20 season and providing our players this exciting and unique training opportunity!
