Teams are now posted. Practice days and locations are not yet finalized.
In evaluating players, we used a combination of the following:
1. Birth Year
2. Tryout performance
3. Evaluation from previous coach if a previous Shark
4. Director evaluation from past season if a previous Shark
5. Ability to contribute in multiple positions, ie: does just not play right back
6. Consideration if moving up to the new age group would be a challenge from a skills perspective
We have formed teams in what we think will be the most successful way for both teams and individual players to find success.
We did have to make cuts this year with our huge turnout; we do also have a very small number of players that are waitlisted.
WHAT COMES NEXT:
I am on vacation starting today until 8/26. Upon my return on 8/27, I will start getting the team emails out with practice dates and locations as well as more detailed coach information. At that time we do ask that you either accept or reject your spot in our online system NO LATER THAN 9/7. If you will not be taking your spot, we want to give our waitlisted athletes the opportunity to play.
