Brittanie Booker 
Brittanie Booker played field hockey at Mount Pleasant HS where she was Captain and received numerous honors her senior year. She continued her field hockey career at the University of Vermont where she was named Offensive MVP her senior year. She played club field hockey at the University of Delaware while attending graduate school, and helped her team win a national title in 2012. Aside from field hockey, she enjoys rugby, street hockey, dodgeball, getting her nails done, and cooking.

Bob Christopher 
Bob has coached club field hockey for 16 years, starting with a 9-year stint at Strikers FHC. He took five teams to the National Field Hockey Festival, and numerous appearances at the National Indoor Festival. Bob got his start in soccer, attending four licensing classes through the regional level and coaching youth teams from age 9 to 18 Bob is a student of the game of hockey and has participated in various coaching clinics with college coaches including staff from Michigan State, University of Delaware, Rutgers, Penn State, and Drexel. He is a current high school coach in PA after a tenure as assistant coach at Ursuline Academy in Delaware.  Bob’s wife Mary Sue is a high-ranking national field hockey official who played college ball at Penn State and also coached at DIII programs. 

Megan Cox 
Megan played field hockey at William Penn High School and has been continually playing in adult leagues both indoor/outdoor for 8 years. Started coaching over at Hodgson Vo-tech back in 2010 where she stayed for 6 years.  She is currently the Head Coach at William Penn High School.  She has coached other sports like lax and soccer ranging from the high school level to 6 year olds. She owns a dog named Scully who likes to go to work with her at Christiana Body Shop, she works as an Office Manager.

Veronica D’Amico  
Veronicaa has 13 years total playing experience and was a 4 year varsity player at Cape Henlopen High School, earning many honors and winning several conference championships. She participated as both a player and coach in many national tournaments including National Hockey Festival, Disney College Showcase, and the National Indoor Tournament. She played on the nationally ranked University of Delaware club team, winning 2 national championships. Veronica is currently the assistant varsity Tower Hill School.

Amy Deitrich, Goalkeeper Coach
Amy attended Wilmington Friends School and went on to play in college at Temple University.  She was a three-year letter winner Wilmington Friends High School and two-time Delaware State Champion.  She captured 2nd Team All-Conference as a junior and 1st Team All- ConferenceTeam and 2nd Team All-State as a senior.  College accolades include Temple University Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Division I Regional All-American, First Team, A-10 Conference Champion, A-10 All Conference Team, Honorable Mention, A-10 All Tournament Team, Three-Time A-10 Defensive Player of the Week, and Temple Invitational - Most Outstanding Goalkeeper.  Amy was also a USA Field Hockey Developmental Camp attendee D, C & B Camp.  Her love for hockey still shines as she continues coaching:  William Penn High School - Volunteer Goalkeeping Coach and Assistant Coach, 1999-2005; George Read Middle School - Head Coach, 2006-2008; William Penn High School - Volunteer Goalkeeping Coach,  2009-2012; and George Read Middle School, Head Coach 2013-2018.  We are excited to bring a great breadth of knowledge to our GK's with Coach Amy!

Stef Moyer Hodgson
Stef is a Delaware Sharks alumnus who also played at Sanford School and Monmouth University. At Sanford, she was a 4-year varsity starter and earned Delaware Independent Conference awards. She also led Sanford School to their first ever conference championship in her junior year, when Sanford finished number 3 in the state. During her time at Monmouth, she helped her team transform from a 2 win and 14 loss record, to an over .500 record and finished second in the Northeast Conference Championship. Stefanie is a history teacher who currently teaches at the Cleveland White School, part of the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth, and their Families. Still teaching history, Stef is married and the proud mother of 2 young boys. 

Chardonnay Hope, Goalkeeper Coach

Chardonnay played at Kutztown University, where she was 2 time captain, first team all PSAC conference, and 2nd team All-American.  After coaching at Mansfield University for a year, she is now assisting at Washington College.  She is employed as an officer with the Chester County Youth Center.

Laura Lee (Director of Coaching)
Laura founded the Delaware Sharks back in 2000 with Debbie Murray- Sheppard, in response to a lack of indoor field hockey programs in the area. The club quickly grew from one team to many. She coached the first-ever Sharks team the Hammerheads Sharks, and the first outdoor Sharks team to win a National Field Hockey Festival pool (two years in a row). When the Hammerheads graduated she returned to coaching younger players as teaching the basics is her first love. Laura is a field hockey official for both the Delaware Field Hockey Officials Association and USA Field Hockey, officiating both indoor and outdoor. Her coaching career started in soccer, coaching recreational and then travel soccer for nine years and earning a D Coaching License and the 2000 Adidas Region I United States Youth Girls Soccer Coach of the Year. She is also director of field hockey programs at Kirkwood Soccer Club, where she oversees youth programs for all ages. Laura played high school ball at McKean High School, and ran track at the University of Delaware (also participating in club hockey and rugby). 

Andrew Moffett
Drew's origin in coaching began 20 years ago with high school football and wrestling.  During his coaching career he was named Delaware Division 1 assistant wrestling coach of the year and won numerous Blue Hen conference and State Championships in both sports while coaching at William Penn High School.  Once he became a father, however, Drew hung up his whistle temporarily to put his energy into his family.  Now that his girls are old enough to enjoy sports, he has once again become a great advocate for sport and the development of young people.  Drew is a Level 1 certified field hockey coach who has been a huge fan of hockey for 25 years and recently began playing in a co-ed league.  For the past 3 years, he has coached at the U12 and U14 level for Delaware Sharks.  He moves to U16 this year.

Loveita Moffett
Loveita started playing Field Hockey in 8th grade and was a member of the 1994 William Penn State Championship team.  She attended University of Michigan, where her honors include:  Captain 1998- All-America First Team, All-America Third Team – 1997, All Big Ten First team Honors 1997-1998, Big Ten All-Tournament Team 1998 and Big Ten regular season champions 1997, and Big Ten Tournament Champions in 1998. She was selected as the University of Michigan’s “M Women" Athlete of the year 1999.  After her undergraduate work, she was a graduate assistant for Temple University Field Hockey 1999-2001.  Coaching youth hockey has always been her passion, shown in her 12 season run as head coach of William Penn High School field hockey team, earning 6 Blue Hen Flight A Championships, appearing in every DIAA state tournament from 2001-2011 (State Finalists-2006 and Semi-Finalist -2010).  Athletes she has previously coached played field hockey at the following colleges/universities: University of Iowa, Boston College, University of Delaware, Towson University, Bloomsburg University, Ursinus College, West Chester University, Manhattanville College, Kean University, Wesley College, Lynchburg University, Neumann College, Catawba College, and Washington College.  She is married to her husband, whom she met in kindergarten, and has two very active daughters. 

Summer Pierson
Summer played at Solanco High School where she was a 4 year Varsity starter, and two time Lancaster-Lebanon All-Star team pick.  Summer adds value all over the pitch - although she was the team high scorer, she was moved to the backfield to anchor the defense her senior year.  As an Explorer at La Salle, Summer had an outstanding career as a defender.  Summer is a positive motivator and we are happy to have her on staff!

Caroline Phillips 
Former Sharks player and Concord alum who went on the play her college ball at Juniata.  Caroline is a teacher at Mount Pleasant High School and the assistant field hockey coach at her alma mater, Concord.  Coach Caroline also coaches lacrosse.  Caroline has worked with a broad range of ages and love to teach the younger players strong skills.  

Carly (Becker) Radziewicz
Coach Carly played high school field hockey at William Penn and went on to play at West Chester University.  Carly is the head coach at DMA, and she coaches all age groups.  She loves working with the youth programs and helping them build strong basics.  Carly owns Diamond Dog Training, which provides walk, pet-sitting, and training options.  She is a married mother of 2 and a rabid Philadelphia sports fan!

Shannon Strosser
A Sharks alum, Shannon played hockey at Smyrna High School before attending Bridgewater College.  Played all four years at Bridgewater, including being a member of the 2015 ODAC Championship team that went to the NCAA Sweet 16.  Shannon was First-team all ODAC and Second team all VASID senior year.  Shannon is a third year teacher at Appoquiniminck HS where she teaches Health and Phys Ed.  She is the App Head field hockey coach, a Unified Basketball coach, assistant lacrosse coach, and assistant Athletic Director!  Shannon enjoys playing in adult leagues, going to the beach, and hiking.

Paul Zelenak
Paul comes to us with plenty of men’s field hockey playing experience. Paul was on the 2009 Junior Men’s Field Hockey National Championship team, and practiced with Concord High School field hockey team through 2010. Paul attended Drexel University and was on their lacrosse team from 2010-2013. During his time there he also practiced with the Drexel field hockey team from 2013-2014. Paul is the head coach for Padua Academy, which has been runner up in the Delaware State Tournament for the past two fall seasons.

Jen Zuck (Co-director)
Jen Zuck played center mid at Milford High School, where she earned numerous honors including first team all conference and all state. Following high school she went to the University of Delaware on a full academic scholarship, so she chose not to pursue hockey at the collegiate level. She also has her MBA from Wilmington University.  Jen has over 15 years of coaching experience having worked with athletes as young as 4 all the way through high school.  She currently runs the youngest youth instructional programs, spanning grades K-4.  She has experience coaching multiple Festival and NIT events.  Jen still spends plenty of time on the pitch, having played continuously in women’s league, Kent County league, and New Castle County League. Jen is employed by Marlette Funding, a fintech startup in Wilmington.
