REGISTRATION
Q. How do I register my child?
A. All online registration is through the Baytown Little League webpage. Click here to register a new player. In person registration is also available, dates and times are listed on the homepage.
Q. How do I know if my address is within BLL boundaries?

Q. Will I need to have documents with me at in person registration?
A. Yes. You will need to bring your player’s Birth Certificate and one document from each of the following groups:
- Proof of Residency Group 1
- Driver’s License
- School records
- Vehicle records (registration, lease, etc.)
- Employment records
- Insurance documents
- Proof of Residency Group 2
- Welfare/Child care records
- Federal records (federal tax, social security, etc.)
- State records
- Local (municipal) records
- Support payment records
- Homeowner tenant records
- Military records
- Proof of Residency Group 3
- Voter’s registration
- Utility Bill (gas, water/sewer, heating, etc.)
- Financial records (loan, credit, etc.)
- Medical records
- Internet/Cable records
Q. Will my player be required to participate in a fundraiser?
A. Yes. Each player that you register will be required to participate in a fundraiser. Details of the fundraiser will be provided upon registration. Funds raised towards the BLL fundraiser are non-refundable.
Q. Does my player have to try out?
A. Yes. Each player will be required to attend tryouts with the exception of T-Ball. Tryout information will be provided once registration concludes.
Q. What equipment will my player need for the season?
A. Your player will need a bat (please ensure the bat meets Little League requirements), glove, batting helmet and baseball cleats. A protective cup is required for all male players during practices and games.
Q. Do you offer refunds?
A.No refunds will be distributed after January 19, 2024.
TRY OUTS AND DIVISIONS
Q. When are try outs?
A. Dates for Spring tryouts will be determined by the BLL board and posted upon approval.
Q. What equipment does my player need to bring?
A. Please have your player bring a glove, bat and batting helmet. Cleats will not be required at tryouts.
Q. What happens after try outs?
A. Player drafts will be held for each division. From there, team managers will contact the families of each player on their roster. Please ensure your account's contact information is up to date.
Q. How do I know what division my player will be?
A. Divisions are determined by your child’s league age. Please refer to the Little League age chart to determine division eligibility. BLL is currently offering the following divisions:
- T-Ball
- Minor 3
- Minor 2
- Minor 1
- Majors
Q. I think my child is better suited for a different division. How do I request to "play up"?
A. Please notate your requests, concerns and any other information that you feel is important within the “Additional Information” field of the registration form. All requests will be reviewed by the BLL Board of Directors prior to tryouts.
