Programs/Division Descriptions

BASEBALL (all baseball divisions are open to boys and girls) - use LL baseball play age

Tee Ball
  • Ages 4-5 and those 6 year olds not ready for coach pitch.
  • Meet on Saturdays from 8:15-10:30.
  • Morning starts with a group (socially distanced) meeting to go over that week's drills and skills.  Teams then break out into smaller groups for short practiced.  The morning finishes with a 2-3 inning game.
  • Location: Seton Park
Pee Wee
  • Ages 5-7 and those 7 year olds not ready for kid pitch.
  • Meet on Saturdays from 8:15-10:30.
  • Morning starts with a group (socially distanced) meeting to go over that week's drills and skills.  Teams then break out into smaller groups for short practiced.  The morning finishes with a 2-3 inning game.
  • Location: Seton Park
Minor Baseball
  • Ages 7-9 and those 10 year olds not ready for major division.  10 year olds are not allowed to pitch.
  • Games:
    • Saturday - one game, time varies depending on that week's schedule.  Occasional doubleheader.
    • Wednesday OR Thursday - 6pm start - play on either day (only one game per week) depending on that week's schedule
  • Practice times and locations are determined by team coaches
  • Game location: Kappock St. Field (Henry Hudson Park)
Major Baseball
  • Ages 9-12 and those 13 year olds not ready for senior division.  13 year olds are not allowed to pitch.
  • Games:
    • Saturday - one game, time varies depending on that week's schedule.  Occasional doubleheader.
    • Wednesday OR Thursday - 6pm start - play on either day (only one game per week) depending on that week's schedule
  • Practice times and locations are determined by team coaches
  • Game location: MS141 (Riverdale Playground/RKA)
Senior Baseball
  • Ages 13-16.  Division plays with wood bats and plays on the 60/90 foot field.
  • Games:
    • Saturday - one game, time varies depending on that week's schedule.  Occasional doubleheader.
    • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday OR Friday - 6pm start - play on either day (only one game per week) depending on that week's schedule
  • Practice times and locations are determined by team coaches
  • Game location: Seton Park, Field 1

GIRLS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL (girls only) - use LL Softball Play age

Minor Softball
  • Ages 7-9 and those 10 year olds not ready for major division.  10 year olds are not allowed to pitch.
  • Games:
    • Saturday - one game, time varies depending on that week's schedule.  Occasional doubleheader.
    • Thursday or Friday - 6pm start - play on either day (only one game per week) depending on that week's schedule
  • Practice times and locations are determined by team coaches
  • Game location: Seton Park, Field 2
Major Softball
  • Ages 10-12.
  • Games:
    • Saturday - one game, time varies depending on that week's schedule.  Occasional doubleheader.
    • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday  or Friday - 6pm start - play on either day (only one game per week) depending on that week's schedule
  • Practice times and locations are determined by team coaches

Junior Softball
  • Ages 13-14.
