Fall Baseball Online Registration Opens

Every fall Easton Little League hosts a fall baseball program for players who will be league age 9-12 for the upcoming season. Home Run Baker will be fielding teams to participate once again this season. Registration is now open online.

Players born between 5/1/2005 and 8/31/2009 (league age 8-11 in Spring 2017) with at least one year of playing experience are eligible to participate. The fall season is primarily focused on developing the fundamental skills necessary to be successful in youth baseball. Coaches will look to introduce new players to live pitching and stealing bases while allowing experienced players to hone the skills necessary for the Majors Division. While there will be games played, the primary focus of fall baseball is on skill development and repetition. This development is far more important than the outcome of Fall Baseball games.

There will be 6-8 preseason practices before school begins. Typically, there is 1 practice per week after Labor Day. Games will be played at North Park in Easton on Sunday afternoons beginning after Labor Day. Games run through the end of October.

Each town will be given the opportunity to field its own fall ball team. If a town has players interested but not enough for a full roster, those players will be given the option to combine with another town(s.) Most likely to balance the teams based on experience and age we will need to combine towns. Players are encouraged to play fall ball even if they are playing fall sports. HRB managers will accommodate players with scheduling conflicts to the best of their ability.

Quite a few volunteers have offered to manage and/or coach this fall. Managers will be chosen based on player registration and volunteer availability. If you would like to manage/coach please indicate so when you register your player.
