Description of Playing Levels

Major League:
For those players Age 10 to 12 who play at the highest level offered within the league. The players must try out and be drafted to be onto a major team. Once placed on a team, the player stays with that team until finished with the program or until the player requests to go back into the draft.

AAA Minors:
This level plays the same rules as the Majors. Players are evaluated but for those 10 and 11 year olds not drafted, the players are placed on teams as to provide equal team strength among the teams.  9 year olds who try out and evaluate well can also be placed on these teams.

AA Minors:
This level uses a combination of kid pitch and coach pitch. This level provides more instruction than competition. The ages of the players are usually 7 to 10 years old with the majority of the kids that are 8 or 9. The teams are not drafted but are put together by school affiliation. Coaches and friend preferences are welcomed and will try to be accommodated.

Coach Pitch:
This level is for kids that ages 5 though 7 (providing kids age 6 have played 1 year of T-Ball).  5 year olds can play at this level provided the parent is willing to coach/manage and plans at being at all of the practices and games.  Coaches pitch at this level in games. This is an instruction league where teaching the fundamentals is the most important part. Teams are again put together by school and games are made up of play integrated with instruction. Coach and friend preferences are welcomed and will try to be accommodated.

T-Ball:
This is for the young kids that are new to baseball. Hitting is off of a tee. This level is for those kids who are 4 to 6 who have not played before or is felt that they would benefit by another year at this level. Introduction to the game and instruction is the most important part of the play.
