Foster Park Little League’s (“FPLL”) 2025 registration is now open. Please review all details below in full prior to registering.
All players are required to be registered online unless granted an exception by FPLL (See Proof of Residency/School Form section below for one such exception).
Please note that online registration does require full payment at the time of registration.
Registration process
Before March 6th, register online by clicking here (Registration Page) or by scrolling to the bottom of this page.
Registrations after February 28th are subject to a $10 surcharge per player (this does not apply to players at the Coach Pitch or T-ball Level). We cannot guarantee your child a spot after February 28th. In the event we are full at a given level, your child can be added to our wait list or referred to a neighboring Little League. Capacity is subject to diamond availability and the number of volunteer coaches.
Registration and payment in full before February 1st receive a $20 discount per player.
T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant Program
The T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant is dedicated to helping families in need by covering up to $150 of their registration fees associated with their local Little League program. T-Mobile and Little League share the belief that every child should have the chance to experience Little League, regardless of their financial or personal situation. At this time, a date has not been released by T-Mobile for when sign-up will open. Please note that available funds are used very quickly as this is a national program. Click on the link for more details and how to apply.
T-Mobile Call Up Grant Program
If you receive the grant, it will not fully cover the league fee with the exception of the tee ball and coach pitch programs. Please contact [email protected] for assistance on applying the grant awarded as well as making the remaining payment.
Acceptable Forms of Proof of Birth Date
You must provide a copy of the official birth certificate to be eligible to play. This should be from the Board of Health.
Proof of Residency Requirements/School Form
For returning players, proof of residency or school enrollment within Foster Park’s boundaries that was submitted during previous seasons has been retained and nothing further is needed upon registration.
Please do not upload birth certificates or residency documents when registering. Upon registering, you will be contacted by FPLL’s player agent to advise of any documentation needed in regard to birth certificates and proof of residency/school.
For players who do not have residency or attend school within FPLL boundaries, you may not be able to online register. If you encounter such an issue while registering, please contact us at [email protected] for further instructions.
Coaching and Volunteer Needs:
In order to ensure all children that want to participate are able, the league needs volunteers to coach and perform other key needs such as field maintenance (mowing, dragging infields, preparing diamonds before games, etc.) and concessions. For all divisions, we need 3 coaches per team (t-ball only requires 2). Without coaching volunteers, this will limit the number of children able to participate. For those considering coaching, the time commitment is typically between 20 hours (Tee Ball) and 80 hours (Juniors/Majors) per season. This typically consists of 2 games per week for 6-10 weeks (dependent on age group) plus 1 practice per week. We work with coaches to ensure maximum flexibility on schedule and coaching pairings, where possible.
If you can volunteer as a coach or in another capacity, please complete the volunteer form on the registration site or correspond with the player agent via email upon receiving registration confirmation.
All volunteers are required to complete a background check.
Finally, we will send out a notice soon with limited opportunities for paid positions including umpiring, concessions, and field maintenance. These roles are typically intended for teenagers.
Player Evaluations:
Player evaluations will take place in early March. A date will be circulated in the coming weeks. Players must be 100% registered prior to the tryout date or they will miss the evaluation.
The following is a guide for which should come to evaluations:
- Players who were drafted into and played in Majors in 2024 do NOT need to attend.
- Players who were drafted into and played in Juniors in 2024 do NOT need to attend.
- Coach Pitch/T-ball players do NOT attend. They will be placed onto a team.
Please note that all players make a team. The evaluations are used for coaches to judge the skill level of players for draft purposes (Major, Intermediate, and Juniors) or for purposes of trying to create competitive balance (Minors and Pitching Machine).
