It is the purpose and objective of the Wood River Parks & Recreation Department to provide wholesome recreation to the entire range of citizens within and surrounding our community. It is our goal to develop and to provide leadership for these services at the lowest possible cost and continue to run our Golf Course as a profit producing enterprise. The Recreation Programs are also self-supporting without any undue burden to our taxpaying citizens.  

Wood River Parks & Recreation programs and facilities are available to all citizens regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
