Our Lady of the Rosary teams exhibit positive values and sportsmanship
The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), through the vehicle of sports, provides youth with the opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities and to become friends with other children throughout the diocese.  
Our objective is to impact youth in the game of life
We aim to help each player to improve their basketball skills which will lead to life skills with deep practice.  We help your child form a necessary base that will then form a solid foundation to catapult  his/her confidence.  We ask that your child, give a determined attempt at each practice and game.  Also we ask our parents for positive reinforcement towards players,  coaches, referees and other parents.  
Here at OLR, we have two programs:
basketball grades 2nd-8th, season is usually September through February.
cross-country  grades 2nd-8th, season is usually July-September
