Brendan is in his 10th year with Crusaders. He was born in San Diego, California. He graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1998. Brendan received his Masters Degree in Education from Chapman University in 2007. He is married and has a 3 year old son, Owen, and his daughter Caitlyn is 1. He played club soccer through high school. He played high school Varsity soccer at St. Augustine High School. He plays for Sod Celtic in the S.D. County Soccer Premier League. Brendan has his National “D” License. He was named the Crusaders Boys Coach of the Year in 2002. He coached the Boys U-19 Red Team and took them to the State Cup Championship in 2004. In 2007, his Boys U-16 team was Presidio League Champs. This past season, his Boys U-17 finished second in Presidio League and were Tournament Champions this past summer in the Arsenal, Pegasus, and Notts Forest tournaments. Brendan is in his ninth year of teaching English and Latin and coaching the Varsity soccer team at St. Augustine High School. In his eight years at Saints, he has led the team to 3 CIF Titles(2001, 2003, 2006) and 2 Western League Titles(2003,2006). In 2006, he was named the Boys High School Coach of the Year by The San Diego Hall of Champions.
