Pop Warner Spirit Program

Cheerleading was officially recognized in the 1970's, but has been a part of the Pop Warner program for several decades. The first ever National Cheerleading competition was held in DeKalb County, GA. Today, 160,000 children are participating in cheerleading and dance around the United States.

Participation in the Pop Warner Spirit Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. Pop Warner programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone .

Instructional Level of Cheer

The Tiny and Mitey Mites are the future of our cheer program.  Our coaches will teach the girls what it means to be part of team and the fundamentals of cheer.  The Tiny-Mite and Mitey Mites are non-competitive. They will perform in two cheer competitions which will  be the Princess Gala and Chicagoland Pop Warner Cheer Conference.

Competitive Level of Cheer

The competitive levels are Jr. Pee Wee Level and up. Cheerleaders will be placed on teams based on their age and level of experience.  At the competitive level our girls have to be dedicated and committed to their teammates. The competitive level of cheer will perform in two cheer competitions which are the Chicagoland Pop Warner Cheer Conference and Mid-America Regional's. We will also compete for Nationals in Florida.
