Our football program has multiple levels. Each team will determine what level they are early in the season.
Players ages 5-7 will only play in a developmental division. Our goal for the younger players is to make sure they have a good understanding of the game, know how to play safely and most importantly have fun! There generally aren’t playoffs but likely will have bowl games at eh end of the season.
Level 3 is set for new teams with newer and younger players. This level is competitive but is far more instructional than competitive. These teams will have an opportunity to play in the playoffs and win a state championship!
Level 2 is competitive and will allow a team to continue to play as far as the national championships held in Orlando, FL the first week in December. This level is for teams that have been together for at least 2 seasons and have more experienced players and coaches.
All levels will be determined very early in the season.
Practice is held at Prairie Point Park and starts on Thursday August 1st. We practice 530 -730 Monday through Friday for the first 2 weeks (or until school starts) then Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday the rest of the season - same times.
Pop Warner football has been around since the inception of the league in 1929. Since then, participation has steadily increased to today's record numbers for children ages 5-14 (age determined as of July 31st of the current year).
