Big Bend Pop Warner (BBPW) offers a competitive cheer program that is gaining recognition throughout the Tallahassee community and the Southeast Region.  Since 2006, BBPW cheer squads have advanced to regional and national levels in their respective competitive divisions.  Spirit squads participate in the local Big Bend Pop Warner Cheer Competition and Exhibition mid-season. The Tiny-Mite and Mitey-Mite spirit squads are not permitted to compete; however, they can participate as an exhibition squad for a fun and memorable experience!

The Junior Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Junior Midget, and Midget spirit squads are considered competitive squads. The top three teams from the local BBPW competition advance to the Southeast Region Cheer and Dance Championships Thanksgiving Day weekend in Orlando, Fl. Only the top two teams from the Southeast Region Championships are permitted to compete at the National Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Championships at Walt Disney World.

Big Bend Pop Warner spirit squads also have the opportunity to participate in local events, including parades and festivals. Please contact your Association Cheer and Dance Commissioner for more details.

Dance

Big Bend Pop Warner is looking to start competitive dance squads in their respective divisions. There are no auditions and dance squads have the same opportunities as cheer to compete at the local, regional, and national levels. The dance squads also have an opportunity to perform in the local community.
