Return to Play Action Plan 

Association: Valrico Rams Youth Football and Cheer Address: 707 S. Miller Dr., Valrico ,Fl. 

Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus the Valrico Rams will implement the following procedures to insure the health and safety of their players, coaches, board members, parents, visitors, and spectators. 

1. GENERAL RULES 

➢ All persons that enter the field will be subject to a temperature check prior to 

entry and logged for attendance rosters daily 

➢ A waiver must be signed to gain entry. 

➢ We will recommend the use of face masks. 

➢ All must follow the recommended social distance requirement. 

➢ If you are sick you may not enter. 

➢ Entrance and Exit will be separate to limit congestion. 

➢ Common use areas will be monitored and sanitized regularly. 

➢ The use of bleachers is prohibited. 

2. PLAYERS / CHEERLEADERS 

➢ Must bring their own water bottle. No sharing of containers. 

➢ Temperature checks prior to entry. 

➢ All equipment such as pads, balls, and mats will be cleaned and sanitized 

regularly. 

➢ Keep contact to a minimum. 

3. COACHES 

➢ Responsible for monitoring and policing their respected team. 

Should a player show signs or symptoms of illness, they will be escorted to an Executive Board Member who will contact their parent for pickup. The player will not be allowed back onto the field until a release from a medical professional is provided. 

➢ Groups of 10 ( 1 coach with 9 players ) 

➢ Temperature check prior to entry. 

➢ Must keep groups as small as possible. 

➢ Must use hand sanitizer throughout practice or game. ➢ Coaches will maintain a roster of each player that attends 

practice. ➢ Practice sessions for registered participants only until further notice (no games, 

camps, scrimmages, tournaments, etc.). 

4. PARENTS 

➢ Maintain recommended social distancing. 

➢ No congregating in groups larger than that set forth in the 

“phase” that we are currently in. 

➢ Temperature check prior to entry. 

➢ Parents are encouraged to remain in vehicles or drop off children 

when possible. 

▪ If a parent chooses to watch, he/she must Stay off the field/sideline Bring their own chair Adhere to strict social distancing requirement Limit to 1 parent per child 

5. CONCESSION 

➢ No concessions until further notice. 

6 RESTROOMS 

➢ A position will be created for a volunteer to clean and sanitize door handles, 

sinks, and toilets regularly. 

➢ Make sure hand sanitizer is stocked. 

7. LIGHTNING PROTOCOLS 

➢ Due to inadequate protection, in the event of lightning everyone must return to their 

vehicles until 30 minutes pass from last strike.
