Spring 2021 season

The Valrico Rams are beginning to plan for our Spring 2021 season which will include Saturday tackle football games with our cheerleaders cheering us on. Pop Warner has provided an opportunity for its teams to play more games due to Covid-19 and the ensuing safety precautions that prevented many teams from playing a full season.

Information is still in the process of being finalized, but we wanted our Rams family aware of possibilities in order to plan accordingly. Here is what we do know:

• Players and cheerleaders who participated in the Fall 2020 season will be able to participate at no additional cost for the Spring 2021 season. New players and cheerleaders will be allowed to participate in the Spring season at a reduced registration fee ($50 for cheer, $125 for football).

• The Spring 2021 season is expected to begin practicing on or around February 16 with 2 nights of football practices and 1 night of cheer practices. 

• Games are expected to be on Saturdays beginning in March with multiple games at the Rams location and the other games at any of the 9 other FYD teams in our area.

• The Rams are expected to field teams in all of our age divisions. We have secured head coaches for all of our teams and are looking for assistant football and cheer coaches. If interested, please contact the Rams Athletic Director or Rams Cheer Director. 

Flag Football on Friday nights

Currently, Under Armour Under the Lights is using the Rams field on Friday nights from 6 - 9 p.m. to host youth flag football games. Admittance is free and the concession stand is open. Feel free to come on out and support the concession stand and flag football games.
