Hello Rams family,
The Valrico Rams’ Spring season has begun and our first week of football practices and third week of cheerleader practices have concluded. Look below for updates and important information regarding our Spring season.
Football and cheer practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30pm on the Rams field (707 S. Miller Road). Parking is available in the grass parking lot’s designated spaces. Do not park in the roundabout or on the side of road across from the gate, impeding the two-lane driving and pedestrian access from the grass parking lot to the Rams field.
This weekend (March 6-7) is Equipment Handout Day.
Saturday: 1-2 pm (6U/8U equipment issued); 2-4 pm (10U/12U equipment issue)
Sunday: 2-4 pm (14U and those who can’t make Saturday)
Original Birth Certificate Return: For cheerleaders and football players new to the Rams this season, we will be returning your original Birth Certificates beginning on Tuesday, March 9 during practice. Please pick them up from the fieldhouse at the following times.
March 9 7-7:30pm - children’s last names A through H
March 9 7:30 -8pm - children’s last last names I through P
March 9 8-8:30pm - children’s last last names Q through Z
Practice and team updates: Football and cheerleader coaches utilize the free app GroupMe to communicate quickly and effectively with parents. Please make sure you have talked to our child’s coach (after practices) to have access to the team chat on GroupMe throughout the season.
